THE STORY BEHIND THE TRIBE

​After moving to a new city, I realised how hard it was to make friends as an adult. No longer surrounded by schoolmates or university friends, I found myself asking—where do you even start?

Turns out, I wasn’t alone. So I created The Tribe—a welcoming, no-pressure space for women to meet, connect, and build real friendships.

What started as a small idea in Auckland has now grown into New Zealand’s largest women’s-only friendship community. We believe every woman deserves a circle of supportive, fun, and like-minded friends. And we’re here to help you find yours.

    That depends on which level of subscription you've purchased. Benefits range from discounts on events, to unlimited friendship events each month. Alternatively you can opt for 1-off ticket's to events to try before you buy. You can check out the membership options here: https://www.findyourtribe.co.nz/memberships
  • Can I put my subscription on hold if I'm busy at work, heading away, or need a break from things?

  • Can I host an event?
    Absolutely! If you're keen to meet new people and make some lovely new friends, you'll love hosting! Even better, you'll get lots of help and support. In fact, we'll manage the whole thing for you. We'll do the promotion, let you know when the girls sign up and remind everyone as your event gets closer. You'll also get a free 6-month Tribe subscription which means you can freely RSVP to any Tribe Events that catch your eye.   • There aren't any events on for me. What should I do?
    Well, you could always host your own! Hosting is free and I'll help spread the word so you've nothing more to do than sit back, relax, and be there a few minutes earlier than everyone else. Or, you could wait n' hope someone else hosts something you'll enjoy and, in the meantime, downgrade your membership here: https://www.findyourtribe.co.nz/update-membership
  • Can I upgrade/downgrade/cancel my membership?

  • Is this suitable for all ages?
