If you've been wanting to dip your toes into Tribe events but weren’t sure where to start, this is the perfect way to jump in! Join your fellow Southern Tribe Newbies and experience the magic of over 500 handcrafted lanterns during the Lantern Festival in Manukau.

About The Event
Come and meet lovely new people in a laid-back, welcoming setting. This Newbies series is perfect for all newbies plus, because these events are provided by the council as free to attend, they’re easy on the wallet post-Xmas —making them an effortless way to get out, have fun, and start building some lovely new connections.
The shared experience of exploring lantern displays and watching a film offers plenty to talk about, making it easier to connect with others. Plus, the casual, open-air environments are perfect for mingling at your own pace.
